Remarks

Go for it if you have interest in other thing than study because you gonna get very talented people in campus.

Entrance Preview

MSBTE diploma score. Score is 76% in last year semesters. Best college for industrial engineering in maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In whole four years you get a chance to study very useful and interesting subjects teach by some very good professors. Otherwise if you are very serious at your studies then it is good place. Vishwakarma institute of technology (vit) is very strict in terms of attendance. 70-75% is considered okay, but anything below this, and you have to pay a heavy fine, and may even be detained.

Internships Opportunities

No internship or project are provided by college or department but in last year you have to do a project in industry. Most painful thing is not a single company provide a project to 3rd year student.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college offers a healthy 85-90% placements overall with most of the remaining opting out of placements as they wish to pursue higher studies. Forbes Marshall, Fiat, Tata motors, Infosys are some of the major recruiters, with average package being around Rs. 4 lac. Computers, Electronics & E&TC record the best placements with many students getting multiple job offers as well. Salaries as high as 10-15 lakh per year have also been offered to a few.

College Events

5

It is the best part of college because who have other talent than book & study then it is the place for you. Means seriously one most for vishwkarandak (inter college competitions) & technical fest called melange towards the end of january. The sports fest, vishwakarandak, is held in december.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in vit pune crosses 1 lakh and ranges somewhere between 1.1 – 1.25 lakh. A big thumbs down. Please be late to pay fee otherwise big dues at you came at you. But you got a admission through reservation then its fairly cheap for you. Their are some scheme for for paying fees. Your can pay in installment or something.

Fees and Financial Aid

The only scholarship you going to get is government provide. I never heard of that college provide any kind of scholarship to any student for any reason. You are on your own.

Campus Life

3.5

When you've heard of VIT so much, you'd expect a gigantic campus with lush green lawns, a wonderful stone structure and enough open space to organize a big Rock concert. But unfortunately, the campus disappoints on all such factors. Now that doesn't mean the infrastructure is bad in anyway, it's up-to-date and definitely acceptable, just that if your expectations are high, you would feel that it isn't really up to the mark and there is a good scope for improvisation. The library is good, air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled, classrooms are roomy and spacious as well and once you get used to the college, you'll know there's hardly anything missing.

Hostel Facilities

3

They dont have any. You have to find apartment with your friends near college or find any private hostel. The food near college is not up the mark. If you have money to spend and craving for good food then search near area. You will be very lucky if you find good food in cheap price.

Alumni/Alumna

Though the cut-off is very high, the crowd here is not that bad. There are nerds but the crowd in all is enthusiastic and fun-loving. but you have contact them for your own good. their are some alumni meet time to time.

Exam Structure

Class test at start, mid sem at middle of semester & end term. It means you have to be consistent through out semester and let's not forget project. If have a bad luck and fail one of the exam then you have to pay big money to register particular subject.

Admission

After giving diploma exam you get the score, they only consider average of last two semester percentage. Score must be affiliate from MSBTE maharashtra state board of tech. Education). Then you have register for admission process which is held by MSBTE . In form you have select favorite college (considering your marks & interest.

Faculty

3

Very few are interested to teach a subject & genuinely want to give you knowledge. Other are just bored from their life and came to waste your time as well.overall, the students are quite satisfied with the faculty, and they say that all professors have good communication skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
