Sscbs is a full-time college, and you can opt-in on only a regular basis, other options like part-time or distance are not available here. This college has Caste and minority quotas like obc sc st sikh, Kashmiri migrant, etc and I have availed the Sc quota. Admission here is completely based on the cutoff for each category and cutoff released on du's website. The admission process is simple just apply online wait for the cutoff, if you cleared the respective cutoff, then you can proceed with the offline process in college.

I choose Bsc computer science as I have an interest in it and wanted to pursue it as my education qualification and profession. The faculty here is completely excellent, you won't get better faculty than this, and every class has 40-55 students as per my knowledge. All assistant professors, professors, administrative staff, principals are well qualified and helpful. Sscbs have the semester system, like total of 6 semesters for 3-year ug program

Here at sscbs, students get various internship opportunities of many well-known technology and management companies, college has CDC society basically the placement cell that manages each and everything regarding placement and internship opportunities. Students get many minor or majir project offers from these companies with a good stipends.

Last year students of any course would be eligible for placement and they can sit for their dream company's placement round just after completing the necessary process for placement. Many companies hire students from sscbs, naming those like DE shaw group, CBRE, BOSTON consulting group, zomato, bain capabilities, Deloitte, kpmg, EY, etc. Every year many students placed from sscbs but if look into ratio more than half of the student who sits for placement gets placed, even with the good LPA.

All the courses have an average fee as itbis fixes by government and there is no fee hike policies like other private colleges, for Bsc course fee is 25 to 30 thousand. Student can avail the govt scholarship from govt scholarship portal and financial assistance for each year from college.

SSCBS has an annual fest CRESCENDO and like every other college, this college have many other technology Arts debate fests, quiz fests like elumiere, illuminati etc. The college have its own library offline ans online both, where you can avail facilities of library, you can read magazine newspaper everything here without paying any extra charge for it, it is best about it. Classroom are air conditions clean with excellent infrastructure. Students can follow various social pages of societies to know more about them.
