1st yr experience in government college of engineering Aurangabad

At first, I applied for pccoe and 2nd hope was this government college of engineering Aurangabad. I lost pccoe by just 0.03 percentiles . You can easily judge that both collages are same but one +ve point to my current college is this is gov clg. I got this clg at 94.23 percentiles because I am nt-c category. The most valuable thing you will get here is time for self study. Because teachers are not that much strict to studies. And another thing that I loved most is extra curricular activities there are many clubs to join that will keep you busy.

From my childhood, I loved electronic things that's why I pursued this entc branch. Most of the faculties are M.tech and PhD holders. About exams, this is totally on the college due to its autonomy. In my experience, clg takes exams when they want.

Here is a program named AnkurGECA for internships. When you intern at this you will have a chance to work on vital assignment and initiatives. Which will help you devlop personally and professionally. There are many opportunities except this you will apply your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a good and decent college for placements. The main recruiting companies are TCS WIPRO Mahindra , Bosch and many more . Some students study for gate and go for mtech in many IITs and NITs my own brother and his friend got placed in IIT Bombay for mtech in cs all due to much free time in college for self study.

The whole fee for open students is 80k but for me a nt-c category student and most of students got this college at just 43k due to scholarships. And I think normally everyone gets this college at 43k only and total year will spend in this money only . Because there is no hostel fees at all. But one -ve point for hostel is the less number of seats which is dependent of marks. If someone don't get seat in hostel there are many rooms nearby but that adds money.

There are many clubs that I can't mention each but some of them are technical clubs - team cybrotics, team techrovers, these are for Robo drone electric vehicles and some more, one for F1 racing named Aayush club, Journalism- TEESA club And many more but I didn't go to college due to this corona that's why I don't know many of them. But when asked to seniors they told us many. Currently, I am in team Techrovers newest club of our college.

In 1st year hostel will be allotted by rank. Many factors affect your seat like category, marks. In the 2nd yr seats will be allotted by cgpa of 1st yr. If you got that's great but if you didn't room outside clg are much higher prices. Both hostels are available for boys n girls with no issues at all. As I saw rooms were clean and with good security. For boys max in time is 11 pm official and for girls 9 pm and unofficially I can't say here.
