A relatively new but good college

With my wbjee rank, I didn't expect computer science in any college but was allotted this college by the counselling system. Other than this college I applied for the Future institute of engineering and management. I did not avail any quota. When I was allotted this college the admission procedure was easy and simple. I was told to bring the admission fee and 1 sem fee along with several documents to the college office. The staff was extremely nice and helped during the procedure. Counselling comprised of our hod and subject teachers sharing positive thoughts and some insight with everyone.

I chose this course because this was at the most demand at the time of choosing the course. The student to faculty ratio is good, each section has a mentor. The faculty is well qualified and well experienced. There were no fluctuations in exam timings and they were moderately set.

The college is relatively new so there's not a lot of data on placement records, but from what I heard the placement is above average and all the major companies come for on campus placemats. Students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year. The highest package was offered by byjus and was about 10 lakh per annum but there were several other instances with more than 8 lakh per annum. About 70 to 80 percent of the total students that appeared for placements. My plan remains to hold a good score throughout my college and get a good package.

There were no fluctuations in the fee structures and we're charged what was the original fee. The faculty were not aggressive towards fee defaulters. I opted for tfw scheme for weaving my tuition fee but I didn't get it. I've been on the campus once for the admission procedure so I don't know about any on campus job opportunities.

College is relatively new so there haven't been any proper recurring events and since the pandemic, only a handful of events have occurred. We were allowed to access all the books available in the library and issues them physically later ebooks were provided by the librarian. I've only been to the college campus once so I hardly got a look into the classroom and its amenities. Due to the pandemic, all sports events have been suspended but the college clubs did organize esports events. Apart from this, I've had minimal interaction with any clubs or portals but our seniors are truly helpful.
