About my college

Chitkara University Rajpura was my priority and I had already taken admission. Then I got a seat in JUIT so I decided to take admission in JUIT reason why I chose JUIT was because of its placement, less no of students (as compared to Chitkara 1000 in CSE) and last is near to my home town. The admission process was easy. Everything was clear and easy as I am from Himachal so I got the Himanchali quota. The admission criteria were based on JEE Main ranks. Lesser the rank faster you get your seat. They checked everything eg. Certificate, JEE Main percentage, 10th and 12th certificate, other documents needed for admission. After getting admission registration was scheduled after 10 days. On registration, you pay fees and got hostel rooms etc.

Because of placements and need in society. The facility may be 100+ professors and 2000 students in college. The qualification of the facility are PhD in their respected subjects some teacher are good at teaching and some are on average or below. Term exam is on time and the paper was difficult not easy as we think in private universities.

Well they provide an internship facility recently they provide an Internship by de Shaw of 1 lakh per month of 2 months and the one is Eyantra summer internship. Well, I don't know about projects but 3 students are selected by de Shaw from JIIT.

In the 5th semester, you are eligible for placement. As I am in the 4th semester so I don't have the exact no. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Google Microsoft, Paxcom etc. The highest package will be 32+ and average is 5 lakhs. ACC to JUIT placement cell show 100% placement. After my degree, I will get placement otherwise study for gate exam.

The fees structure was good approx 1 lakh for study and 50000 to 60000 hostel changes and due to Covid, we got 20%less fees in the 3rd and 4th semester. I am a student in the 2nd year so no scholarships and placements I got.

Ther are many fests in 2021. 1) International conference on fignal processing and computing and control October, 2) Vicharan on Jan, 3) ICIIP on November, 4) essay contest. The books facility was really amazing. Everything was provided in the library. Every suject books to a daily newspaper. Lecture hall was amazing about 200+ students per lecture hall. Whiteboard, mic facility, Ac, proper vantilation. They held many compitition related to sports tech dance etc every 2-3 months.

In-room ther will be one Almira, Singel bed, One rocking chair and table, one rack just above travel and one rack for books and other stuff. Now that's a question. Meals are really good they maintain a proper and balanced diet. They give us three times a day meals. The menu was scheduled and repeated every week. The registration process was easy it was done on Registration day just 10 days after admission. It's on you if you want a hostel or be a day scholar but believes me, hostel Life is best and the same for food.
