Remarks

I only took admission in SSCBS as it was my first choice, and it provides the course of my interest. SSCBS have quota benefits like SC, ST, OBC and minority quotas, and I have availed the OBC quota. The admission criteria are not that much difficult, but you have to make sure that you have filled the form for the University of Delhi. Admission is based on a cutoff system, just clear the cutoff and take admission, no need to worry about anything, there is no counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose the BSc CS, as choosing a course is not that difficult because we know our interests. The faculty is well qualified and experience and mostly supportive here, not like school. Various teachers have various own teaching methods, can't explain more, but just they excellent. Exams are conducted on semester basic, a total of 6 semesters in three year UG course.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

It companies and management companies offer intership opportunities for students with good roles and stipend as per the work. Even the companies offer the roles to work in their major or minor project for placement opportunities.

Placement Experience

4.5

Students become eligible to sit in the last academic year of their course. Various companies visit colleges like IT companies, management companies like Zomato, KPMG, De shaw, Boston, CBRE, EY, BAIN, Deloitte India, etc. Every year average of students gets placed at SSCBS.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is validated by the University of Delhi, as it comes under it. There is a fixed fee, no hikes every year like private colleges. Students can apply for scholarships at the National Scholarship Portal just after verification from college and apply for financial assistance.

Campus Life

4

SSCBS has an annual fest crescendo, Elumiere, Tarang, etc like every other du college. Students can read magazines, newspapers, biography, books, a journal for free at the college library. The classroom has various amenities like Ac, projector, audio-enabled classroom, etc. The students can follow social media pages on popular social media platforms like FB Instagram, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
