Excellent study experience.

No comments. but seniors are arranging good events and festivals they had worked hard for events/festivals when I was in the college. The college should have a nicer infrastructure and a well organized sports quota.

I was existing student for N K college. I have submitted admission forms to 2 - 3 other colleges as well. but my first preference need to choose existing college reason my past experience is good. my score for maths marks is 72/100 mark and as per college criteria. In fact to secure my entry after my junior college, the college has set some percentage to be achieved in hsc, depending on the course.

Course was good and the faculty members is also good their techniques to teach and guide about various updates related to study which helps me to grow as individual. They take every effort to understand the topic in best possible way faculty members are very good and frank behaviour. Teachers really are helpful with students.

College provide a variety of Internship programmes to their students Companies like Angle broking recently conducted the internship programme which was very much helpfull to the students of the college and many more compaines like ICICI, Yes Bank etc also conducted the internship programmes.

There is a special placement department to guide out and provide opportunities to students seeking for employment.The professor of our college actively try to bring employment opportunities for the students. Students are thereof provided placements on time of graduation and even after graduation.

There were lots of events viz Pravaah of 4 to 5 days which included all sport games, fashion shows, gaming event, mehandi competition dance competition. There was also a function in which we used to call renowned speakers for giving lectures. People from NSS are very active .They try to convey message to the other students and public of social awareness They actively organize events like blood donation camp , marathon for awareness and awareness campaign.For every other department there is a separate festivals for B.Com and BA -springz for BMM- montage and converge, for BMS- its kiran for it department its zesty and the for intra college there is arrangement which is for degree college and for whole college the a common intra college festival call SYMPHONY all this festivals gives every individual student to showcase their talent in different fields.

Fee structure is quite within reach as it is aided college assisted by government. Normal courses like Bcom have approx 5000-7000rs fees annually while self finance course have 18k anually fees approx .The fees are collected in one payment whole before the start of the academic year.

Yes a scholarship facility is provided by the college to students whose parents annual income is not more than 1 lakh Rs.

Gender Ratio is quite good .There are equal no of boys as well as girls. Talking about cultural events ,the college is quite good .But the college lacks in sports as the management team is very poor ,there is no playground ,only necessary sports equipments are provided. The college is more of Gujarati quota so Gujarati people are funded more of in the college and the in house student of NL school are given direct entry .Thereof I am against the reservation personally speaking.

The canteen food is edible and decently tasty. Even though, the cost of the food items is not heavy on your pockets, students complain about the space as it is extremely suffocating. Pav Bhaji and frankies are the hot favourite items of this canteen.There are a few food parlours at the end of the lane whose food are just about edible. The college lacks any great nearby hangout, hence most of the times, Inorbit Mall on Malad Link road is the savior for these students.

Yes ,the seniors have been very helpful they have guided us through many things they have helped us in studies ,cultural events ,etc. The seniors have a very good management team. The staff is also very helpful for assisting through various activities and document related help.

Exam structure is semester wise. There are two semesters each year and two unit tests in degree college as per Mumbai university norms .But recently the college has been granted an autonomous status .So there might be alterations in the exam pattern.It was not that easy though.

Admission in this college is both online from its website which is NKC.ac.in.Form filled admission procedure is quite used by students. There are maximum 4 merit lists reveal at the time of admission procedure.I have filled form and submitted it like the traditional way.I have got 57% in hsc and got my name in 3rd merit list then it came to fees procedure.The supervisor of the college also takes admission process there is a quite rush in his office but rush is all over the campus during admission.

Teaching at NK College is quite average with a lot of young professors. The college lacks experienced staff and there are no particular subjects whose teachers are to be boasted about. Though most of the teachers communicate in English, the major drawback is years of experience.
