The best public university in Haryana

Thought of attending IPU but the fees were very high and I preferred YMCA over IPU it's close to my living location and is also a state university. No quota availed. The minimum percentage required in class 12th ranges between 70-80%. The admission process was very smooth. On the counselling day itself, I got admission to the college. The counsellor asks some personal questions as in where you live and about previous achievements, establishments. It was basically easy.

I preferred this course as it best suits my profile and my background as m from commerce and it's easy to get the curriculum once you get all the fundamentals of subjects in commerce. It's important to gasp all the past curriculum. Faculty to student ratio is where I feel the course lacks. The faculty-student ratio is 4:50 but it's actually nice in a way as the faculty does indeed see all the students and know all of them all the faculties in YMCA Faridabad are top-notch as it's a public university There's no need to worry about their qualifications, all of them have the highest qualification complying with UGC guidelines.

As many as 13 students of JC Bose YMCA University of Science and Technology have been offered a package of Rs 28.75 lakh in the ongoing placement drive. It is the highest so far. Last year, Rs 27 lakh was the highest package offered to students. While Amazon, a multinational electronic commerce and cloud computing company, has offered the annual salary package of Rs28.75 lakh to a total of 13 students of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CE) and Information Technology (IT) branch, another 30 students have been offered placement by Samsung (Research and Development) at the annual package of Rs 12 lakh each. Those who have been selected will undergo internships followed by full-time employment. Claiming that the varsity has emerged as a hub for leading recruiters such as Daikin Air-Conditioning, Danfoss, Hitachi Consulting, HCL, TCS, Samsung and Maruti Suzuki, a spokesperson of the varsity said as many as 188 companies have been involved in the ongoing campus placement.

From the 4th semester, you start to get internship offers at the campus. Local firms such as Escorts, Mahindra and Mahindra offered technical as well as financial jobs to the campus students. The highest average package last year was 7.5 LPA and the average package was 3-4 LPA depending on the performance of students. 70% of students took on-campus jobs. I'm planning to do CFA after getting the degree.

There's no fees hike policy as of now. It's a subsidised course by the Haryana government and talking about the fees. The first semester fees are 21200 of which 2000 is security deposit 18200 is tution fees and rest 1000 is for I'd card and maintenance charges. The fee from the second semester is 18200. I think it's affordable when compared to other private colleges. You get some internships from the YMCA they are back profile jobs as a mutual fund agent insurance officer and bank employee.

Culmymca is the annual fest organised by YMCA Faridabad and is now being postponed due to Covid 19. All the books whether in the curriculum or not are available in the library. Also, there is a book bank from where every student in the college can borrow the books for a semester. Talking about classrooms, centralized ACs smart boards CCTV cameras, every single thing is available. There are a variety of clubs in the college. Anyone can take part in whether it's sports club drama club singing club, the sports club, for instance, has all the sports ranging from Basketball to Kabaddi. YMCA Faridabad is the non-official handle managed by students.
