Best college in South Campus

After the cutoffs announcements, I was getting admission in mostly south campus colleges like Motilal Nehru, Deshbandu, Shivaji, and few others. After Interacting with senior students in DU I found Ramanujan better than others.I took admission under the General category in BSC(H) Mathematics.For this course, the score of 3 main subjects including maths and one other subject either English aur optional was included in calculating the final percentage. The final cutoff for the course was 92% with no age barriers. The admission process was online which was quite easy provided by an online councelling session by the college.

Being good in Mathematics I took the course.The faculty and student ratio is good with around 6-7 teachers for 50 students.The faculty is highly experienced with most having PHDs from renowed Indian and foreign institutions.For teaching online MS teams were used and the faculty was pretty good in handling it.The term exams happen twice a year with internals happening every sem.The faculty is quite lenient in giving marks and believes in learning rather than mugging up for exams.

For the first year students the fees is around 24k which reduces next year to 22k and then 14k in the final year.Due to covid the college take fees in 2 terms of 5 months each.For the financially weak students the college also provided facility of concession in fees.Overall the college helps you to focus on studies without worrying over the fees.

The college life is very good with events happening around every week.The fest season usually start around January with every department having its own departmental fest followed by the annual college fest in March end.Due to covid this time the entire fests were online.The college also has an fully air conditioned spacious library with good amount of books of course as well as of other topics.The library is open for all students till evening.The classrooms are also good with smart teaching boards .For sports the college has a football,cricket and a volleyball ground with a gymnasium inside the campus.In the college there are a lot of societies and clubs to be a part of.Few of the highly active societies are Dance society, Music society, Debate society, and much more
