Remarks
I appeared for WBJEE counselling for all private colleges in West Bengal on the basis of my JEE rank which was CRL -109691. In the initial few rounds of the counselling, I got ECE branch in the same college i,e., NSEC but luckily in the last round, I got CSE on my rank. After getting a seat the admission process was quite easy we were just required to pay the initial fixed amount to book the seat which is 40000 for all private colleges in Kolkata, after paying that we were required to pay the remaining first-semester fee to complete the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computers were a point of interest since my childhood so that's why I selected this CSE branch to understand how this amazing thing actually works and what are the things we can do after learning these. Since we are a batch of lockdown period so unfortunately, I haven't been to college yet although we are about to finish our 1st semester so because of that we were having online classes till now. Teachers here are well experienced and knowledgeable so we don't face many problems in anything. They are also very friendly. Since there was a little delay in the admission schedule due to corona so our course started a little late but thanks to the college faculty they still managed to complete the syllabus on time. The semester exams I will say was quite easy as organized by Makaut so there were just MCQ questions but the internal exams organized by our college teachers were comparably quite hard and strict.
Internships Opportunities
I am a 1st-year student so I don't know much about placements yet, but since I took admission in this college because one of my relatives has studied from here and according to him a very good amount of companies come to our college which gives us on-campus placement options. And the average package of our college is also 3.6+ LPA which is definitely not bad.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of our college are around 4 lakhs for 4 years. I have heard from our serious that a good amount of company come to our college to give on-campus placements. However, there is no exam conducted especially from where we can get scholarships or anything like that.
Campus Life
Since we are a lockdown batch so we didn't get the chance to experience Fresher's party or any other fest because we have not been to college yet. Although my few friends who live near the college have been to the college library and I have heard the library has a good amount of books we won't need to look anywhere else for any books our college has a sports club also which organizes a lot of sports events like cricket, badminton, chess etc. We also have a lot of other interesting groups like there is one Lensified group which as you can guess is related to photography where we can learn about photography and there is another interesting group which is PHOENIX which organizes a lot of interesting events like dance, music, debate, quizzes, etc.
