I took entrance exam for M.Sc (Comp Sci) and scored 110 out of 180. This is one of the best college in Pune for Engineering and Computer Science. Also have good placement programs.
Course Curriculum Overview
We had multiple subjects which included CPP, Networking, Database, Net etc. We also had practicals for the subject which included languages which gave us practical knowledge about that. And also we had to complete the projects on Semester basis.
Internships Opportunities
No, this college doesn't provide internship. But they have good placement programs and they always make sure that majority of the students get placed.
Placement Experience
Placements are good and the professor who is head of our placement cell, she is brilliant at her task and get good companies for jobs and also make sure that they are proving good stipend to student and if not at least they have good career growth and have a chance to continue in same company with good package later on.
College Events
College do celebrate the annual function and organise the seminar and tech presentation where students from different fields made the project on there own on particular topic. This includes Working model, presentation, Charts or short film on technology/current high tech.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship was there only for students from backward classes and the sports quota. About loan I am aware that one of friend has given the facility to pay the fees in 2 installment. Half at the time of admission and another half during half yearly exam.
Exam Structure
The lecture and practical period was lined in a way that it shouldn't be big burden to student. And frankly speaking a bit of burden does required to keep the student energetic and they should not take the things lightly. Professor also used to take a surprise test just to make sure Students are all up to date and they are understanding the subject well without any doubts.
Admission
Firstly we had given the entrance exam and then the result was declared in top raking order. Students are called up according to there ranking order in entrance exam. My number was 53 th according to the list and the max seat allocated to MCS was only 30 before. But later on they got the permission from University and seat was extended upto 60. Hence I got the admission else it was really difficult for me to get this through.
