Internship opportunities

The college is pretty good according to the colleges in West Bengal and has kept it's standard high throughout the years. I had got this college through wbjee counseling and had not applied for other colleges. I did not apply for any quota for admission. For my program, the required rank was within 30000. The admission process was very swift as most of the payments were done online. I had to go to college only to collect books and uniforms. The required documents were dispatched through the mail.

I had chosen the course as I was keen to do on-site work and projects. And this course fully allows me those amenities. The student-faculty ratio is quite good and the faculty is very helpful. They consent to be asked any doubt any time related to the course. The faculty is well qualified and most of the teachers have their master's degrees in their respective subjects. The term exams were very timely and were moderate for the students

Many companies have been providing internship opportunities to deserving students in our college in different departments. There is a summer internship also winter internship for those students who are unavailable for the summer internship. They are provided handsome stipends. There are many projects under the internship which make the students well trained for the industry work

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to avail of placement opportunities. But students can join their respective companies only after completion of the courses and not before. Many companies come for the placements in our college as it is one of the finest colleges in Kolkata The highest package goes up to 30 lakhs per annum and the average is around 4 lakhs per annum Around 90 percent of students have got placements in reputed companies. My plan is to go with a job in a reputed company after becoming an undergraduate

The fees structure is quite balanced and affordable. I did not apply for any scholarships in general as it was not required in my case. I did not avail any stipend as well in the college. There is no hike in the fees and it has remained constant throughout all these years

Different clubs have their different fests in different parts of the year. For example, there is a literary fest, a tech fest, and many workshops in general. The library has got a plethora of books of all kinds whether it be academic or fiction or for research purposes. It also has a variety of journals for the students and faculty. The classrooms are also well maintained some also have an air conditioner facility. There is equal importance on extracurricular activities as there is on academics. There is a social service club called Samaritans which aims on helping people in whichever way it is possible to do so.
