Course Curriculum Overview
Government college of engineering is one of the best college in Maharashtra and now this college become autonomous college from calendar year 2014-15. In GCEK five courses are available i.e Mechanical ,electrical, civil, IT and E& TC . In all courses civil , IT and mechanical has near about 100 % placement.

College does not provide internship . All companies come to college to college for direct placement purpose. Companies coming to college campus has good packages. all companies have their own criteria for student and their packages. Average package offered by companies are 3 lacks to 4 lacks.

College has under government category so best part of this college is fees structure. Government college of engineering has very less fees structure e. g for open category student fee is 25000, from which 15 ,000 refund if he is apply for EBC . For other than open category student fee is very less and less than 1000.

Yes, Government college of engineering has one scholarship offered that i know which is TFWS scheme . TFWS is govenrment scheme in that top 6 student from each branch has concession in his fees.
Campus Life
Government college of engineering has good gender ratio and it may be 45 -55 . College campus area is very big and all place is under camera and wifi zone. Government college of engineering has its own big ground for playing cricket , football , basket ball etc. In college campus some has which has options for indoor games such as carrom ,chess etc.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is semester wise structure. All departments has his own separate labs and examination halls so need to leave labs or halls. college has common 4 exam halls and 2 drowning halls which are sufficient to all students. For practical exams and externals seprete examination labs also available in each departments.
Faculty
College faculty is good in all departments. For government colleges faculty selection through MPSC. So all teachers are goods and well experience and permanent staff. For IT departments all staff have master degree or qualified through mpsc exam so no blame against staffs.
