Agriculture in Uttarakhand's Top University

There is no quota system in my college, only Uttarakhand domicile students have some extra benefits. There is no such criteria of age and marks for admission, all Indian students and Saarc country students can apply for admission. Admission process is very simple , on the day of counselling you have to just carry your all documents. Admission process is done in 3 steps .Step 1: Document submission Step 2: University ID card Photoshoot Step 3: Hostel alloting form fill up. Before admission, you have to pay 10000 for seat booking which will be later deducted from fees.

Agriculture is one the professional course with higher job opportunities for that I choose this course. Faculty: student ratio is 1:2. Faculties are highly qualified and experienced with very effective teaching capabilities. The teaching method is very good and attractive as agriculture is completely a practical-based course where you have to do various hands-on operations. Exam here is not to difficult you can easily pass with proper preparation. We have 2 internal exams and one end sem exam in each semester with various lab quizzes.

The placement cell in your college is very active , almost student gets placed based on his academic performance and skills . Various renowned companies like Dabure , Patanjali, Sygenta, etc visits our college and you can get package of 2.2 to -8 L.PA. Highest 12 L.PA package is placed in our college .You I have work hard for that. Beside placement job placement cell also helps to build employability skills and helps to prepare for various outside company interviews.

There is no fees hike pocily but fees increasing is mentioned properly in the college brochure. You can pay yearly academic fees in two times but you have pay the full one-year hostel fees at a time. You will get scholarship based on marks in your bards exam from 8000-12000 per academic year. There is no financial assistance or job opportunity in campus but you will get some fees discount if you are Uttarakhand domicile student.

The name of the annual fest is Dharohar which is organize in the month of March in every year. You will get all type of facilities in class like fans , A.c,Projectors,water filters ,WiFi,etc. We have various extra curricular activities known as passion programs like rock climbing, badminton, basket ball , volly ball, football, cricket, kabaddi ,etc. There are various social groups and clubs in college runs by students named Quills , Pehel, Techofiz etc

The hostel is very good with all-time water and electricity supply, a laundry facility, and free WiFi. Rooms are of two types A.C and Non- A.C . You have to share your room with one or two roommates. Meal quality is very bad you have to depend on completely Canteen and Magi no cooking is allowed in hostel even you can not bring cooked food in the hostel. The menu of hostel meals looks interesting but the taste is like hell. The hostel registration process is very easy it is done at the time of admission. I would say for lazy people hostel is heaven and it's highly affordable. Yeah, you can easily get various P.Ga outside the campus but rent may be slightly higher side.
