good teaching excellent campus life

I applied to Sinhagad college of engineering vadgaon Pune as it was allotted to me through the cap allotment process. The reason for choosing this over others was I applied for tfws quota. Tfws quota provides a tution fee waiver to students although it houses a high cutoff and very few seats. To be eligible for admission you must have qualified to jee mains or mhcet with an aggregate of 75% on respective boards and you must produce valid documents at the time of admission. The admission process was a bit slow and need to be improved overall was acceptable.

Well, I already have a deep interest in software development and it world, and my college house is one of the best faculties in Pune in collaboration with SPPU. The infrastructure is all well developed and managed is also a contributing factor towards opting for this course. Faculties are highly educated some of them even pursued masters in IIT And also have lots of experience in the field. Well qualified staff present maximum have completed their master's degree and have a very efficient and modernized teaching manner. Our college keeps on taking the exam every week as a preparation for in sem exam and end sem exams. Conducted by sppu having a moderate level of toughness.

Many mnc's offer internship in our college with lots of accountable projects and kraftwagon club of our college designed solar var and recieved many awards on international level 40 lakhs as prize money.

Students become eligible for campus placement after 5th semester. 60-70% placed and 10% way towards start ups Highest package 39 kpa in 2019 on the other end lowest being 3.44 lpa and a average of 7-8 lpa packages Top recruiting companies are cognizant,wcl,etc 90% students get internship from college in various top tier companies I have planned to pursue for higher studies and i may or may not do it collaterally with job

The general fee for my branch is 1,25,000 and scholarship are provided by various schemes announced by the government and they provide a huge amount of waiver in fess. As i opted for tfws scheme my fees got reduced to 23,444 For obc with scholarship fees is 69-70 k For sc/st approx 10k For vj/nt approx 12k Ebc scholarship are available for general student making 79-80 k to be their fees. The hostel fee is 65,000 /year common for everyone with mess included in the fee. Fee may subject to change as per the GR provided by MH government. Their are lots of job opportunities available as companies like cognizant and infosys,etc come for campus placements

The annual fest is the Sinhagad karandak and is one the biggest fest occuring in pune. Tech fest such as hackathon occurs eventually. All genres of books are available in Library with enough number of copies for every student to have one . Classroom are student friendly with latest learning methods and facilities. Though the seats are traditional and worn off and not auditorium like seats. Sports activities are taken out periodically and have no restriction on entry to the courts or grounds and coaches are well qualified nurturing sportsman spirit. Many club are available students manage codechef scoe also.

Infrastructure is well developed and planned with sufficient no of work space for each student wifi available with 3_4 mbps speed. Hostel is posh and well-maintained mess has average food quality canteen have a variety of items all sorts of sports and games available Hostel mess quality is below average. The locality is very nice with a healthy and green environment and friendly neighborhood.
