In JEE mains 2016, i got 23 k rank. So, i got seat in this college in civil engineering branch. For this rank i got 136 marks in JEE and 98% in state board.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of the course civil engineering is good. In first semester we have subjects building materials, strength of materials, chemistry, mathematics, communication skills. There are no common subjects in first year as in other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, this college provide internships to the students. As, i am now the fresher of this college I don't know much about internship facilities of this college.
Placement Experience
Training & Placement department was established in this institute in the year 1995. Since then lots of activities are being conducted within the ambit of this department for the benefit of students. Every year, more than 50 reputed companies including MNC's visit NIT Hamirpur More than 75% of total students placed under campus placement. Recruitment for every batch starts from August onwards.
College Events
Nit hamirpur is loaded with events. There are many events like cultural fest, technical fest every year which are organised by students only. Addition to this atleast one event is held in every month. The cultural fest is named by hill fair and technical fest is nimbus and these two are held in every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure as in as all NIT's here also it is 1,25,000 every year.But fee Weavers given to lower casts and less income members is good and helpful. Addition to this 23,000 should be payed compulsory for hostel.However, Scholarships given by state and central governments are also helpful for additional fees.

Scholarships are given to the students by college in second year according to the marks they score in first year. but i don't know about it in detail now.
Campus Life
Campus life here is good.there are many clubs and societies to take the hidden talent out of the students. Many events and competitions are also conducted. Here students faculty ratio is 25:1 approximately. And gender ratio is 7:1(m:f) approx. As our campus is first most beautiful campus in India one can enjoy the views of the campus.

Yes, seniors are very helpful.we have interacted in our class with some seniors who have passed out, they shared their experiences in this college with us.
Exam Structure
Here exams are held in mid of semester and end of Semester.however some class tests are also held according to the lecturer concerned. In according to this, there are lab tests also. Total marks are divided for all these tests and a viva. Exams are theoretical and objectives according to the teacher. And additional to this assignments are also given and this marks are also added to final marks.
