Remarks
The admission process in JUIT is too clean. There is a proper arrangement for students and parents. JUIT admits students on the basis of both JEE scores as well as on the CBSE grade 12th marks. JEE score cut-off for the CSE branch in JUIT is approx. 80 percentile while the board percentage lies in between 80-90%.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have had a keen interest in the field of computers since my childhood. I used to spend my leisure time exploring my father's pc. That's the reason, I had opted for the CSE branch in JUIT. In JUIT, there is approx 30:1 faculty: student ratio. Actually, JUIT follows a batch system. There is around a total of 250 student seats available for CSE in JUIT. So, the administration distributes the batches in a group of 30 students each which indeed I consider the best thing about JUIT. The institute has well-qualified teachers. Teachers are also very helpful, they provide their personal emails and sometimes phone number to contact them, whenever someone faces difficulty. JUIT follows a three-tier examination system. T1 - TEST1 of 15 marks, T2 - TEST2 of 25 marks, and finally T3 - TEST3 of 35 marks.
Internships Opportunities
Good internships are offered by the campus to their students. Software developer intern, Technical intern, and many internships. Projects based on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Web Development, Android Development, etc. get offered.
Placement Experience
Companies like Amazon, Google, Paytm, Z.S. Associates and much more visit the campus. The highest package is 39 lakhs and the average is around 6-7 lakhs. There is 95% placement in JUIT. JUIT placement cell works so hard on their students. They organize special preparation series for the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Program fees are around 105000 per semester including facilities of bus service from college to wakhnaghat, lab maintenance charges and etc. Campus claims to provide 95% placement. In 2020, one of the seniors from the CSE branch was placed in Amazon with a package of 30 lakhs.
Campus Life
An annual fest organized in JUIT is 'LE FIESTUS'. 'LE FIESTUS' is a 3-day fun fest generally organized in the month of May. There is a lot of social as well as technical clubs in JUIT including IEEE, ACM, Technical Club, Stage Players and etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel room is major of two types in JUIT, single room or double room. The room is provided with one big almirah for clothes and other stuff, a study table, a bookshelf, and a rack. The room also comes with a heater, a balcony, and a bed with bunker space. Overall, the hostel experience is 9.5 out of 10. Mess is another one of the best things about the college. The food quality, staff, and cleanliness are the best. I personally think 46700 for such facilities is worth it. Mess is also included within that.
