Remarks

I applied to this college because my brother got his bachelor's from JIIT. I did not get any difficulty in applying. It was done smoothly. And councelling process also was done in a proper manner. Admission was done based on jee mains rank or 12th boards.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always wanted a computer science engineering course and i got it. Faculty: student ratio is very good which is 1:30. All faculty are well qualified for their jobs. Exams are taken timely and the difficulty level is perfect.

Internships Opportunities

Deshaw, adobe, infosys and many more major companies are there to offer JUIT students wirh internship opportunities with stipend. We get to do a solid project in our third year and our fourth year. It helps us sharpen our knowledge we got for past two years

Placement Experience

Major companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Come here for job and internship opportunities. We are eligible when we are in the third year. The packages is very good. I plan to go for master's degree after passing out.

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide us with financial assistance, job opportunity, internships, scholarship, and on-campus jobs with stipends. The cost of tuition is as mentioned before is 199,250 rupees. The fees hike policy is great.

Campus Life

JUIT conducts an amazing annual fest and has lots of tech fest. It provides students with great library online and offline where every book is available. This college has varieties of clubs and chapters.

Hostel Facilities

JUIT has the best locality in terms of colleges in India. Meals are truly delightful to have. Students don't miss any meals. It is very affordable and the registration process for a hostel is very easy and smooth.

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements.
