I got the college as a general candidate. There are no age barriers as such. The minimum marks depend on the difficulty level of the exam. The counseling took place online due to covid. The online counseling was quite flexible and there was a customer care executives who would help in case of any difficulty. Documents required are 10th marksheet,12th marksheet, Aadhar card, passport size photo, Rank card.

Electronics is a vast field and has lot of opportunities to succed in life. It gives the knowledge of both hardware and software. Faculties are very helpful and knowledgeable and most of them holds PhD degree. The maximum number of students in our stream is 120. Teachers help in solving problems related to study. They also help in research work. As the college is affiliated to MAKAUT so exam take place according to MAKAUT curriculum. The level of the semester exam is moderate. Besides the semester exams there are four CA(Continuous Assesment) and two PCA(Practical Assesment) in every semester. By revising previous ten year paper any student can pass the semester exam with flying colours. But in order to get good marks one must work very hard from the beginning of the semester.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. Various reputed companies like Tcs, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini etc. Visit our campus. The highest package offered is 9lakh per annum and average offered is 4-5.5 lakh per annum. About 80-90% student get placed every year from our stream. I want to work as a Software engineering after getting the degree.

The fee is 483000 excluding the hostel. During the time of addmission you have to pay 83500 which includes dress charge also. In the second semester the fee is 65000 and from 3rd to 8th semester the fee is 56500. The college does not have any hostel of its own. You have to live in a Pg. The Pg and mess fees is around 4lakh for four years. The college does not provide any scholarships. The west bengal government does provides some scholarships which is available only for students living in west bengal. There are various clubs which provides work with stipend.

Anakhronos is the Annual Cultural Festival of Techno Main Salt Lake. It is held every year. It is one of the biggest fests in Kolkata with a cumulative footfall of around 25,000. Edge is the name of the technical fest. It is the second-largest fest in the west after IIT Kharagpur. It usually takes place in June-July every year.Geekonix is the name of the club which organizes Edge. The classrooms are quite spacious and are quite big. Technotkarsh is the name of the club which is responsible for sports-related activities. Samaritan is one of the social group clubs.
