Techno Main Saltlake, A college for new generations.

I passed my 12th Boards in 2019 and after that, I dropped for 1 year. After 1 year try, I gave WBJEE exams and I got a decent rank but due to corona, the admission dates gradually shifted. in September, the first round of WBJEE counselling started and in 1st round, I got selected in Netaji Subhas Engineering College. After 15 days of waiting 2nd round of WBJEE counselling started, but there is no progress. After 1 month of wait, in October the final round Counselling result got announced and I got selection in Techno Main Saltlake, Kolkata in Computer Science and Engineering specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. After 3 days, I got my mail from College and they told us to submit our WBJEE rank Card, WBJEE admits Card, 10 and 12 MArksheets and Admit Card, Aadhar Card Copy and Domicile Certificate. After got the Verifications, We paid 37k for admission and after that my admission process was completed.

In my case, I don't get the opportunity to go and experience classes due to Corona. In December, Our Induction Programme started where we all were introduced to our teachers and our Cultural Clubs. At that time, we got some tasks from the club in order to give more interaction. In January, Our main classes started. Most of the teachers were very professional and delicate. But due to Corona, we have to face many problems like network issues, app crashes and especially daily household disturbances. Although, we were able to tackle those problems and now we know how to deal with them but still I think the environment which we can get in college is way better than this. The face to face discussions, chats and arguments will improve our way of living in near future, which we don't get in Online classes.

As I mentioned, a student can do as many Internships as he wants. As there are online classes and nowadays most of the Internships are work from home type. So our college advised us to do as many Internships as we can. There is no problem in the case of internships.

In our college, we are introduced to many seminars which are inaugurated by many popular Entrepreneurs, Analysts, Professionals. So, we got the basic idea of cracking an interview from the beginning. Although, we can do as many internships as we want. From the 6th Sem, our interview round stated and before the Final sem, many of the students got their first job. Many renowned companies like TCS, Wipro came to our College. But there are many students who went for Higher Studies. The highest package in our college in last year is 20Lakh/ Annum and the average package is 8- 9lakhs/ annum.

The fees are very much decent and if it is compared with other Private Colleges, you can find the is no suttle difference. In my admission, I paid 40k during WBJEE counselling (For General only, for other casts it was 5k), and during admission, I paid 37k (1st Sem Fees included). in March before our 1st sem, we paid 63k for 2nd Sem ( which is the highest fees among all the seems and after that the fees is constant i.e 52k). Our college accepts all Government aided Scholarships. I have don't have much idea about the names of the scholarships.

As I mentioned before, I didn't get the opportunity to go to College. But as per as I know the College campus is very big and we have all the facilities that are available in other colleges. But the main attraction of our college is our Fests and Events her every student can interact with other branches. Although it is online it's the best thing occurred till now in our College. We have Filanthropia, Safalya, Edge( which is the second biggest college event in Eastern India). Each and every student participates as per their capability and show their talents. not only Students but also many Renowned persons come to our Fests like Harsh Gujral, Tanveer Evan and many more. So, for me, it's the best time in our college till now. Yes, it will be more fun if it happens offline but there is no other option.
