Remarks

Filled a centralized form for admission to DELHI University. No quota was availed. The admission criteria are determined by the college and informed in cutoffs, the procedure for admission is very easy. They just verify documents and tell you to pay your fees online within 2-3 days as may be prescribed by the University from time to time.

Bcom program is not a very stressful course and gives you ample time to explore other opportunities for your career. Faculties are very well qualified and have a doctorate in their fields of specializations. The exams are conducted semesterly and there are monthly assessments.

Internships Opportunities

The companies were outlook magazine and many others as I wasn't interested in getting placed. The projects were to provide education to the students who were not able to afford the studies, to write content about various magazine reports.

Placement Experience

Students in the Bcom prog. The course was eligible for placements from 5th semester and there are many MNCs that come to the college for placements such as Delloite, Outlook magazine and KPMG. Almost 75% of the students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is the bare minimum and there are multiple paid internships opportunities available. Financial assistance is provided by the College on a caste basis. Job placements are very common there but the highest package is around 8 lakhs.

Campus Life

There are many fests during the year such as Ramcom and others. They're generally conducted from January and DU colleges are famous for their fest season. There are weekly fests for 3 months organized by different societies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
