The entrance exam that time as CET and score was around 8000 as per state rank. I have opted for Information & technology as guided by my nears and dears.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was good but I believe it should be more practical rather than theoretical. And most amazing part nothing will help while doing job apart from few subjects. Funny but reality. Hence course structure should be more practical which should further help students to build their carrier as well.
Internships Opportunities
I do not know about this so no comments but if they are providing the same so it would be best for the deserving candidates.
Placement Experience
At our time, placements were not so good. On campus were hardly their and our TPO was also amazing character that time. We use to go for off campus more. But companies always give more preference to those students where they have visited. And we have experienced the same many a times.
College Events
Their use to a cultural program held every year and apart from that small events were conducted very frequent and i was also the part of crew that time. We use to conduct many events to encourage students to show their talent. And we have conducted many successful events that time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In our time it was 50 K per year excluded transportation. Transportation was expansive that time as well. Fee was still fine but now i hear the fee has already crossed 1.25 Lac and transportation is also very expansive. It is hard for parents to afford the same.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship No loan. My dad use to pay in cash. And i do not know if my collage has given scholarship to any one.
Alumni/Alumna
I am in touch with few as its being more than 7 years m out from the college but yes m in tough with few of my seniors and batch mates to. And yes my seniors were very helpful. I use to collect all the notes from them.
Exam Structure
The Exams were like thrice in a session and than finals. So exams are quit frequent in this course and students who go for engineering set their mind accordingly. So you can say it use to be hectic.
Admission
After results announced, you supposed to attend the counselling ( at my time conducted in hissar). Their when your turn comes as per the rank, at that time available seats and with which college seats are left would be the option to go with. And i got my chance in second counselling.
Faculty
College faculty was mix good and worst. In every college you will fine the mix of both but it depends on students as well how much they are eager to learn. Over all teacher were good but now I think much are localities who has jack are serving in college.
