Remarks

I applied for BTECH CSE IN JUIT, admission criteria was JEE's main rank. CSE required minimum rank at some 190000, admission process was simple on rank basis. Two rounds of counseling were conducted one in JIIT Noida and the second in JUIT Waknaghat, SOLAN.

Chose Btech CSE because of the good placement record of the college, the college has the best student-faculty ratio of about 1:6, Teaching methods adopted were modern and leading, teachers were also well qualified. All labs, classrooms, and lecture halls were well equipped.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college offers internship opportunities for the students, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many students applied for online internships in companies like Internshala. Yes, every department offers internships in departments like Electronics, Computer Science, and Biotech departments.

Placement Experience

The college has a very active Placement office. Many companies and organizations come to the college for recruitment, this year highest package offered was of 31 lacs pa by Amazon. Our placement officers communicate with us every opportunity for us to join the government and private recruitments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semester, the fee has to be submitted on the day of registration. The tuition fee was about 90000 and the hostel fee for about 40000 to 45000. There were no unnecessary fee hikes, the cost of the study was also normal and the college campus was beautiful. Yes, scholarships were awarded to some overseas students.

Campus Life

Annual fests like Le Fiestus involved days of celebrations, this annual fest went for about 3-4 days with students in a celebratory mood. Cultural nights, music shows, food and all. Murious tech fest was very exciting with full of participation from various colleges and universities. Gaming and engineering events were seen everywhere.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels were well equipped, with good furniture bedding and laundry facilities. Canteens and tuck shops were also available. Hostel fee was at 45000 rupees including all facilities of mess and accommodation. Mess food was also good and provided nutritious food every time.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
