Entrance Preview

I completed BCA, and then choose m.sc computer science in this college.Gave an interview, our Hod sir has taken the interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

The total course has four semesters, means two semesters in a year. Total Four semesters in 2 years. BCA students and B.sc (computer science ) or B.sc (mathematics) or B.sc( physics ) etc students can join in this course. After completing M.sc computer science, students can go for phd in Computer science or computer application.

Internships Opportunities

For M.sc course they don't provide internship, but for MBA course they provide internship, and our TPO contacted with many companies , and our students do their intern there.

Placement Experience

Many companies came in our campus. They offer On campus and Off campus both for the students. Samsung, Bfc Forex, Unexchange , Tcs, somani realtors, pran foods many more companies came to our campus, and they selected many of our brilliant students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is feasible for all category students. And they provide loan systems also. They tied up with various banks.and we can take educational loan from our selected bank. For M.sc course the total fees is Rs 1,60,000/- for 2 years.

Campus Life

Gender ratios almost 1:1 . Almost same number of boys and girls are in our college. Campus life is very bright. I enjoyed each and every second of it. sports competition are held by students every year.

Exam Structure

The total course has four semesters, means two semesters in a year. Total Four semesters in 2 years. And before giving the semesters we have to seat for the internal examinations. Before semesters there are two internal examinations.

Admission

First I choose this college , and filled up the admission form. Then they called me for the interview, after taking my interview they selected me for the course. Then they called me again and I gave the admission fees and completed my admission procedure.

Faculty

Our faculties are very good and qualified. All phd qualified faculties took the M.sc classes. For each subject particular faculties are recruited there, and they give their best in class.

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.
