I had applied for other colleges like UPES, CU & LPU but didn't take admission over because of their fees system. But then I gave MHTCET got admission in SIT Lonavala in the CAP first round itself. The admission process went very smoothly. The faculty helped alot throughout it.

At first, I was confused between choosing Computer engineering Or Information technology. But while the counseling process the faculty made me understand the basic difference between the two and cleared my doubt about it. So I chose the computer engineering course as it's more oriented to hardware as well as software parts. The teaching is also well qualified. The term exams were taken from time to time and with the provided notes it wasn't that hard to pass.

Internships play an important role in your college life as are they help to develop professional aptitude, strengthen personal character, and provide a greater door to opportunity. Which then becomes an important part while job interview. The college provides internships offers in 6th semester.

The students become eligible for placements in the 6th semester itself. Every year more than 100 companies visit the college for placements. Top Companies like Infosys,Cognizant, Accenture etc visit the campus. Every year more than 90% of students get placed over here. The average package provided by the companies is 4 LPA.

Talking about the fees structure then like every college the fees of general category is always high but over here they provide a scholarship known as EBC especially to the general category students with the domicile which then makes the fees affordable to everyone.

Sinhgad Sports academy with facilities and coaches of national standards is established to explore hidden sports talents amongst students. The library isn't that huge but yes provides you with the books you need. The librarian is very sweet. The fest conducted over here are one of the biggest fest conducted in sinhagad institutes which are very much enjoyable and fun.Festivals of every religion are celebrated over here. We have different social groups and clubs. There is something or else event is happening for student's benefit. SIT Lonavala is a destination for students to groom their overall personality.These are achieved through Value Addition Programmes (VAPs), Student Training Programmes (STP), Lab Innovations, Project Based Leaning, Cultural activities, Technical events, etc.,

Hostel facilities are quite good. The rooms are really big and have all the basic requirements you need like wifi, bathroom cleaning staff, locker and a room with a beautiful view. The hostel admission was even very easy and systematic.
