I want to get admitted in Jadavpur University but i didn't get the best rank in wbjee. No,i didn't get any quota for admission. For admission, the students must have passed the intermediate exam (12 standards) And also appeared in wbjee exam and the wbjee counseling. One another way to get admitted in my college is the management quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose ece because i want to learn about machine circuits and how they work. The faculty and students ratio for a theory subject is 60:01. Qualification of faculties is they have PhD degree. The teaching method is so good. Two semesters exams and 4 mid-term exams were conducted by the college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, about twenty companies visit for internship and they pay stipend from 3000 to 30000 per month. Seniors made many projects using skills that they have learned during semesters. I made one project till date.
Placement Experience
From the seventh semester students are eligible for campus placement. 30-40 companies visit for campus placement in my college. The average package is 450000 per annum. And the lowest package is 200000 per annum. About 75 percent of students got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to start a tech company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee per year is 150000 and the examination fee is 5500 per year. And the hostel fee is 30000 per semester. Yes, in my college there are many scholarships available for students on the basis of wbjee rank and on category wise.
Campus Life
There are four to six tech fests and cultural fests in my college. In my library 85 percent of books are available. Many sports are there in my college. And also many societies and clubs are run by the students like a fitness club, dance club, music club, art club, etc.
