First and oldest engineering college of North east India. Good placement record plus 4 years cost is equal to IITs and NiTs one semester fees. Cracked cee and not JEE adv. The location of the college is at the main capital city of assam and easy access. Where NIt silchar is at a location where access by road is hectic and by train it is unpredictable during monsoon when will there be an landslide.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum now is new and mostly practical oriented. Now this college is under Assam State Technical University. Faculties are friendly and like Local gurdian. They will not only help with academics also personally if you need any help from them.

From 7 sem students can sit for placements, ONGC, OIL,NRL,Microsoft,Capegemini,Infosys, APDCL, KALPATARU, TVS MOTORS, AMAZON, Wipro.etc. highest package till date is 1800000 ctc and minimum 200000. My plan is for higher studies

Admission
Written test -CEE (COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMINATION ASSAM)2016. It is a paper consisting of basic class 12 questions levels almost similar to jee mains with 100 questions incl. all the 3 subjects physics chemistry and mathematics. 3hrs time. Regular study with basic understanding is enough.
