The admission process is the same as for nit through Jossa and if you belong to North-East and want admission through the NE quota then it has a different process by the University.I got admission through jossa for the OBC-NCL category in the Civil Engineering department for the B.tech program. You can get this department till Air 2,00,000 if you participate in a special round

The course curriculum is good enough to understand civil engineering works and faculty members are also good. The maximum professor had completed their M.tech from IIT. 4 examination is conducted every semester. Two major (Midterm and End term) and two class tests (objective type test, subjective type test, Assignment, Viva, Presentation anything). These examinations are not so tough, you can earn good grades if you only study in a classroom with a good mind

Due to covid, we do not know about this since we are at home for 1.5 years. So whenever we return to the university I will provide knowledge about internship that how will you get an internship if you are a Civil Engineering student at Tezpur University

Placement is not good enough in the case of civil engineering. You will have to apply on your own. Some companies come like India oil. Since i am pursuing in online mode due to covid so I have not a good idea about it

199844 is the complete fee excluding the mess fee. You have to pay nearly 25,000 thousand for each semester and 1800/month for mess fee. No, any scholarship if you are not from the Northeast. Job placement is normal as for civil engineers in a normal college

There are various fest is conducted for different-different schools( Techextra,Incignis, etc). There is a central Library on the campus where you can get all the required books. A large playground for sports activity and many indoor and outdoor courts for volleyball, basketball, Tennis, etc. Many clubs are available like music club, Dancing club, etc. run by students.

You will get a table chair along with folding in a double or triple room. A single room facility is not available for undergraduate students. The meal is not so bad but roti will not be given by them. In the breakfast, you will have puri and fried rice, in the lunch, rice and in the dinner, you will also have to eat rice. The hostel registration process is done along with your admission process
