What i think about Techno India,salt lake

Very Smooth, Not faced any difficulty. College handles the admission process very well. I have not opted for any quota. There are some minimum marks criteria like 40 or 45% but if you have prior academics marks less than 60 percent and 7 cgpa in Btech, you are gonna face difficulty so try to manage at least 7 cgpa but more than 8 will make you eligible for almost all the companies and 8.5 for all the companies but one suggestion from my side, don't take the semester marks too seriously, just try to cross 8, that's all.

Basically, If you get CSE or IT, don't hesitate and take it, not from techno India, I would say from any of the colleges (of course keep good college in your priority first) because at the end of your graduation, you will have to work in IT companies and you will face too much difficulty to be a good developer and coder if you opt any other course except the CSE/IT and if you are beast in development and coding then you are not bound to placement for IT job, you can get by yourself from off campus also. Exams and teachers are very supportive unlike IEM and one more thing I would like to add, focus on your self study, not college classes, there is nothing as such that you will not understand even if you haven't a computer ever in your life.

One thing is for sure, that if you are from CSE and IT, and you are at least interested in academics, you will get at least a 3.5 LPA job. Apart from that, more than 50 companies visit our college and I think that is more than enough. Most of the companies come for 5-6 LPA and almost every student of CS/IT student get at least a job of 5 LPA. Some companies with the CTC in LPA(roughly for some companies) that visit our college are:-TCS(3.5), TCS DIGITAL(7), PERSISTENT(3 packages 4.7, 7.4, 9), Microsoft( Technical support role 15+ CTC), Cognizant(two package-6.7, 4.5), Virtusa(4.5, 6lpa), Informatica(11 LPA), Cerner(6 LPA), Deloitte(not came yet), Thoughtworks(8+ LPA), Odessa(5.5 LPA), LTI(3 package -4,6,8). These are the companies already came yet and many more companies that I don't remember and also many more to come. so you can expect 20-25 companies with around 6lpa and you are even a little bit good in coding, you will crack them easily.

You will get your all semester fee structure at the time of joining so no fee increment while course. I don't know any scholarships of our college and the cost of the study is almost 4 lakh for the full course. College is very much supportive so never force you to pay the fee and follow any deadline.

There is too much clubs, groups, fest and all that but I was never interested in these things so don't know much about it. The books availability is not very good but they provide some books every semester to read. You will not face any kind of disturbance while having your classes.
