Remarks

The college management is good. But the kind of support expected from college to extra curricular activities is not provided. All the activities carried out by students committee or other sponsors. The life of vjtian will become more wonderful if college management supports student activities and their views towards curriculum.

Entrance Preview

I scored 164 in MHTCET which is not a good enough score for getting a seat in vjti. I got admitted to Vjti electronics in 5th round of dte admission process. I am quite happy that I got admitted in such a prestigious institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum at VJTI is just like secondary school. A student has to follow the portion given on website for particular year and particular semester. The curriculum as far as first year is concerned is almost same to that of Mumbai university with some additional topics and with few topics committed. Overall the curriculum is good enough for overall development but not good enough if you compare to IIT.

Internships Opportunities

VJTI Being a prestigious institution the internships are easily available with good stipend of about 5k 10k.

Placement Experience

5

The placement at VJTI is best as far as package is concerned. Some big names such as Rakuten, Samsung research, Microsoft etc visit vjti campus for placement. Once you are admitted in vjti placement is not a thing to worry about if your pointer is above 7 or 7. 5.

College Events

5

Technovanza is one of the famous technical fest of vjti. Also there are other fests such as enthusia for sports etc there are lots of extra curricular clubs Aero vjti, SRA, rangawardhan, E cell, alumni association and so on. The students participation at vjti is overwhelming. The worst thing is students have to go to ask for sponsorship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being autonomous government institute the fees are less compared to other colleges. For first year it was 64, 000 INR and it goes on decreasing till 4th and become 54, 000 somewhat. Fees for the backward class or caste student is in 10, 000 which is very cheap.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships are generally for the caste students and not for open. And if any for open students then that are dispalyed on notice board with CGPA criteria for scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life at vjti is just wonderful because group of students with same approach towards life enjoy their life as never before. The extra curricular activities keep the students engaged through out the year. Technovanza, ecell and enthusia are heart of vjti festival season of December.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities at Vjti are not up to mark. Hostel is quite old and kind of dirty place from outside but clenaliness is maintained in hostel regularly. The mess in hostel is good. Overall students review from hostel rates hostel 7 out of 10 because of wonderful memories and classy exam nights in hostel. Hostilities are provided with two huge ground for sport purpose.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. The alumni association at Vjti is integral part of infrastructural development at vjti. Recently civil and mechanical alumni converted 4 old rooms into well furnished ac rooms.

Exam Structure

The exam structure here at vjti is continuous evaluation where student is judged on daily basis in lab as well as in class room. There is no practical exam conducted in vjti. There 2 ist exams and one end sem exam in 1 semester. exam structure is quite fast and student with serious approach towards studies can easily score good.

Faculty

4

The faculty here at VJTI is not up to the mark. Some faculty members are highly dedicated whereas some are just concerned about completion of course content. As practical knowledge is concerned faculty at VJTI is pretty good. Some of the faculty is young and don't has required knowledge of the subject to teach but they manage any how and survive.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
