Shyam Lal college is one of the best colleges on the South campus it fulfils the desires and demands of today's students. College is located on G.T road, having its own bus stop and it is near to a metro station. Admission process- SLC offers admission to the UG courses based on merit obtained in the 10+2 level examination The candidates who secure equivalent to or higher than the required cut off marks are eligible to take admission to desired courses Eligible criteria- For admission to b.com- the candidate must qualify the 10+2 examination with at least 40% marks respectively in aggregate.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen b.com. Being a commerce student, I like to do accounting and taxation The faculty was very good. They completed under the situation of the students and help them with personal attention and granting Some more time for submission of any assignment. All the teachers have master qualifications of their respected subjects. Class size- 50. Course fee- 30000( for 3 years).
Internships Opportunities
Many internships are being provided on the campus. IBM, Zomato, Mindtree and many start 7 ups come in need of dedicated students. An internship program can be 2-3 months Long depends upon the company rules and regulations.
Placement Experience
From the starting of semester 6th, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many good companies visited for internships and job offers. Some of the students go for the internship while others are planning for the post graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have passed b.com from Shyam Lal College. Course fee + cost to study-70000/-. The first year fee was around 10000. 3 year course. I am from the 2017-2019 batch. Didn't get any scholarship in my college. Some companies that visited our college is zyba, sapio, Prometheus consulting. The average package is 2.2 lakh.
Campus Life
The campus life is very amazing. There is an annual fest every year which is super astonishing. The college has a very big library and different kinds of books including curriculum and story fictional books. Classrooms are super big and airy surrounded by be g windows.
