I applied for mithibai College, nm college, valia college and upg college obviously. At first, I didn't know about upg college but when I realized that upg was college inside the building of mithibai college, even I was surprised and happy too. Very smooth. Done with admission process the day after my name on the list. Admission criteria were good marks in math.

I choose information technology because this field has a lot of scope in it department. The faculty teachers are very great and friendly with students. Internals were conducted 2 months after the college started and 2 and a half months later the term exams were held. The difficulty of the exams can be different for each student but I guess the exams were pretty easy to pass.

INFOSYS company is keen to partner with our institute from 2020, 2021 and 2022 batches. For the role of Operations Executive through this program, compensation offered for this role is inr 2.22 lakhs per annum. Additional benefits includes a health insurance of inr 4 lakhs per annu and a life cover of inr 30 lakhs per annum.

After 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. You have to clear all the backlogs before campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc companies visit our college for placements. My plans after getting the degree is my plans and none of your plans thank you.

The college fees for 1st year were 23000 rs. Though there was this pandemic situation for a long time, our college didn't increase the fees of the course like some other colleges(I won't mention it) and that was a great relief. Also, companies do visit upg college for placements and by companies I mean good companies.

There is an event known as 'Techvanza' which is the tech fest of our college There are committees to join such as DLLE, Elequence, WDC(Women Development Cell), and more. The journals and books are available in the college's library as well as our college website.
