Remarks
I got a chance on ece of this college by wbjee counseling. There is no quota in this college. You have to obtain a rank within 20k for this. The campus is good and faculties also the admission process was quite simple. After the result is out of wbjee you have to fill the collage name in the choice filling. And you will get the collage if you have sufficient rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
I like electronics so I opted for this course. There are 1 teacher per 30 students so it is quite well maximum of the teachers are m tech and PhD in the field. Many of them are from IITs and Jadavpur university. The teaching quality is very good.
Placement Experience
Almost 80% of the students get places tcs, wipro are the mass recruiters and also companies like byjus, amazon, Microsoft come here for placement and offer 9lpa package. The average CTC is 5to 7 LPA. The number of core companies are low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is more or less affordable. It is 65000 for the first sem and 56000 for the rest of the sems. You have to clear your fees before the sem exam. As per the university. There are additional 1200 rs for every sem due to the exam purpose.
Campus Life
The campus is not so big but it contains two short football grounds. And a lot of clubs are there in this college for different purposes like tech club social club upsc exam club etc. The EDGE BY GEEKONIX TECH CLUB IS THE SECOND BIGGEST TECH FEST IN EASTERN INDIA. There is also anakhrounas cultural fest or the annual fest. Also a college social fest.
