I have applied for Bineswar Brahma Engineering college and I got selected, I was selected through the Assam CEE entrance examination, I got selected in civil engineering branch in this college, admission in this college takes place through a counseling process carried out by DTE Assam.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in civil engineering so I chose this course here, the faculty students ratio is 1:10, the faculties are all high qualified most of them are M Tech from IITs and a few are Ph.D. holders, term exams are held on time and it is not so difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offer internships both in government and private sectors PWD, irrigation department, APDCl, OIL India Limited, ONGC, NERIWALM, NRL, provides internship opportunities for the students, one can also opt for internships on their own, there are many types of internships done by the students for their overall social and technical growth and also for the exposure to various industrial works.
Placement Experience
Students of final year can avail for campus placement, various companies like TCS, Infosys visits every year and take the eligible students, the highest package goes to about 6 lakhs per annum, not so much students get placements but the placement scenario is improving day by day, I am planning for higher studies after completing the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the study is very less as it is a government college we have to pay approximately 14000 every year, scholarships are also available for students, many companies like Infosys, TCS, NRL, visit the campus every year for placement.
Campus Life
Annual fest technisia is held every year, many cultural events took place during technisia, books are available in the library one can take from there, Currently, no such clubs are present students are working in it to form class soon, there are many social groups present one can join such groups and explore his interest in different fields.
