TMSL ( 1st year )

Through Wbjee examination I applied for colleges like Techno main salt lake, Heritage and IEM only. But in the end, after knowing about all the colleges I found TMSL better than all, as it doesn't restrict you like IEM from doing anything and it is located in sector V of salt lake. One can take admission here through wbjee score, jee mains marks, and management quota. I got here through wbjee marks which were 52 and I opted for CSE ( AIML ).

I chose CSE ( AIML ) as it is going to be the future most demanding Job across the globe. Most facilities are good here they are very supportive. Student ratio is as like engineering colleges 1:6. Faculties are well qualified and very experienced most of them are qualified from Jadhavpur University. Terms exams are conducted as scheduled.

As I am in 1st year only I don't know much about these all thing. But mostly you to work on your own to grab a decent internship, college doesn't provide good intership opportunities. Yeah, you got regular innovative projects and all. AIML HOD is so young and energetic you will definitely love working with him.

Students are eligible for campus placement from 6th semester only. Approximately 50-60 companies visit our college . Pakage offered are around 5-6 lakhs per annum mostly and average package is also 5 laks only . Highest package this year was 12 lakhs and placement is still going on. In CSE department there is 100% placement with average package around 5 lakhs .

Fee is a bit more around 5 lakhs for 4 years and they don't have a hostel facility So, you to live in PG or hostel that's a drawback here that also costs you around 5 lakh for 4 year . So, mostly you get your degree in 12 lakhs . That's 3 lakhs a year . We have job opportunity here as it is located in IT hub of Kolkata.

As I am in 1st year and my semester hasn't started yet so, I can't tell you the fest name but as much I have listened they have special ground in a new town to conduct the fest and its 2nd biggest fest of northeast India. As our campus is so, small so there are no sports facilities. One important thing there is we have a regular speech from different enterpurnure , motivational speaker and all. There we have clubs for each and everything like personality development, coding, robotics, etc.

Admission is simple just you have to get a rank around max 5-6 k in Wbjee to get CSE. Through jee you have to get at least 85 percentile and management quota costs 5-6 lakhs for admission + fee. Set matrix is 120 ( CSE ) , 120 ( IP ) , 60 ( Data Science ) , 60 ( AIML ) . That's the seat matrix for the CSE-based department. AIML and Data science are introduced in the year 2020 itself so, we don't have alumni and all.
