Hey, I'm Neena kumari one of a student of Gargi college. I'm pursuing BCom (prog). I have applied to IP university but we all know DU is a highly reputed college. So I opted for this college and the reason for choosing Gargi college is because it has good infrastructure and also provides good placement from many reputed companies like KPMG, Deloitte etc. It has 3rd rank in south campus and overall 16th rank in Delhi University. I availed the SC quota for this. If we talk about its admission process I must it was smooth and very nice even the staff was so good and volunteers as well.

I have chosen this course because I'm from a commerce background that's why I opted for BCom. If we talk about faculty then I must say it's good and nice. All professors are highly educated and some of them have done a PhD as well which is great even the teaching method is so good, flexible and interesting. The term exams are not that difficult you can easily pass the exam.

Internships Opportunities

The internship which Gargi college provides is soo good like they provide many internship opportunities for students even provide many webinars and seminars as well. I have also applied for so many internships like Unschool, shiptern etc.

Placement Experience

Many companies come to our college and provide decent placement. It has good placement from many reputed companies like KPMG and Deloitte. The percentage of students getting placement is 75%. The placement cell is nice and students can apply for placement from the 2nd year. It is that good

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good and affordable also people from any medium or lower background can afford it. Gargi college also provides scholarships as well and the chances of getting the scholarship are high it also provides financial assistance.

Campus Life

The life of campus is something very different from school. They have good amenities in classrooms. Also the annual fest they conduct every year. Sports and extracurricular activities are nice and decent. There are many social groups like NSS even I'm also a part of it.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
