Remarks
The admission process was quite easy. The intake process was divided into two - 50% through JEE and the rest through 12th boards marks. Just register through their website and everything else is self-explanatory.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is designed so well that you'll gain a lot. The problem here is not with the University but the entire Indian Education which focuses more on theory than practicals itself. For instance, the first year has numerous subjects from diff. scopes but the whole focus on theory and practicals -just like the ones in Higher secondary- are the things that I don't like.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are vast as well with great companies coming over. For again dependent on the capability of the person with good projects on hand and a decent resume. The placement cell works quite well but still, it is a private university and devoid of that IIT tag
Placement Experience
The college provides an amazing opportunity for placements and internships from 3 year onwards provided that one is compatible and capable enough. The average package of TIET for CSE/COE is around 8.1 lakhs with an over 90% placement record
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are the only drawback that many including me face. The annual fees goes around 5.5 lakhs including hostel and mess which is not acceptable at any cost. I don't know why, the course has nothing that they should demand such a high fees, considering that the placements are good is the only reason I took admission in it!
Campus Life
The campus life is really amazing. The clubs and societies are doing great things that could help to achieve big. The university itself organizes ELC activities which is a huge opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge and attain real-life skills
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good. Some have good food while others are average. The rooms have most of the required things as table, chairs, almirahs, beds. The registration takes place through the online portal of the uni - which is very easy to operate. But they are costly as well.
