Entrance Preview
CET examination i got admission in last round . The CET exam was tough. I scored less marks i also had to apply for the college by considering my twelve standard marks. They were good so i was admitted in modern college of engineering.
Internships Opportunities
Sometimes our college do provide internships. It depends on the students as well. If the students have good score and are good with their hands on experience, then the college does recommend such students. I have no idea about the stipend.
Placement Experience
The placements are not that effective. The college does not have much tie ups with companies. Atleast 2 years back this was the scenario, but may be now the situation is different. We do get companies on campus like TCS, Wipro and few start ups, so this is a good indication.
College Events
We had technical event called pulse and almost all students actively participated in the event. Our faculty too encouraged us to participate in the technical event. We had competitions wherein different colleges used to participate in various events organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure here is feasible. We had to pay 1 lakh rupees per year . This included all the insurance as well as tuition and other fees. We were given many more facilities. We had to open a particular bank account and later fees were accepted only in that branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had no idea about any of the loan or scholarship facilities made available by the college. The college comes under university of pune so it is affiliated with the university.
Exam Structure
The labs are usually very hectic and we have compulsory attendance for all the laboratory sessions. The lectures are fruitful too. We get a lot of information and they are useful a lot later in industrial life. The examiners are strict and hence we have to attend everything.
Admission
I gave CET exam and applied for colleges. I was called for round and i was selected in the last round.I went to modern college of engineering and got a form from them. I filled the form and was waiting for other colleges as well.
Faculty
The faculty is helpful. They are always there to guide when we are stuck with a project or a piece of code. They will always make sure we solve all our doubts. They clarify the basics and hence it is very useful. They are strict but that is helpful in later life. we are well versed with the industrial prototypes thanks to the faculty.
