Experience of my college life-Gargi College

My admission process went smoothly. Everything was good even volunteers were there to help you out. I applied for many colleges like Mata Sundari, Kamla Nehru college but found Gargi college best in terms of infrastructure, faculty, and placements. I availed SC quota for taking admission to Gargi college. The eligibility criteria for the BCom program is that a student must have 45% marks in class 12th. The admission process is simply not that complicated. By checking cut off you can easily go to college along with the required documents for further admission process.

I chose the BCom program just to learn more about the commerce field and to learn about managerial skills and understanding in streams like accounting, finance, management. The faculty of Gargi college is so good like the teachers and staff are soo nice and polite. If we talk about the qualification of faculty I'll say it's nice like the teachers are highly educated most of them have done their masters and Ph.D. also and doing their teacher duty so well. The teaching method is flexible and nice. Teachers taught so well and to make the lecture more interesting they make you laugh and interact with every student and help you to understand well. Teachers are kind, polite, and always there to help you out. Timely exams are not that difficult it's like if you study well and be attentive in the lectures then it's very easy to pass. Teachers are there to help students so it's not that difficult.

Gargi college also provides internships for students. Many webinars and seminars are also provided by our college. Companies that offer internships in our college are DU Assassins, growth arrow company, super 77, ednita, etc. The roles they offered for content management, media, and PR, event management, sales and marketing, information and technology, etc. Many internship opportunities are there in Gargi college which can student grab.

The placements of Gargi college are really nice. There is a placement cell in our college. From 3rd year 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. The average CTC was offered as Rs 5 LPA and 3.6 LPA for the previous session. The companies that visited our college are Ernst and young, KPMG, Smart cube and Genpact, S&p Capital IQ, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 50%. My plan after getting a degree is to prepare for my CAT exam.

If we talk about the fee structure it's very affordable and not that expensive. I paid 12,475 for the B.Com program and I think it's affordable. While getting admission you have to pay the 12,475 right there for 1 year. Even Gargi college also provide scholarship for students and give them financial assistance to pursue their study. Many students in my class got scholarships. Gargi College has SK Sood memorial scholarship and RP cricket academic scholarship for outstanding sportswomen. Students also got jobs on campus.

Life on campus is something very good and amazing. It's like every student's dream to get into college and enjoy their life. Campus life is different from school life and more freedom you get in campus life. Gargi college provides an annual fest i.e Reverie in which celebrities come even Diwali fest organized by Gargi college i.e zistatva. If we talk about the library then I must say it's very good. Availability of books and journals is in a good amount. The classroom is good with good sitting space. There are so many sports opportunities for the students like cricket, football, badminton, etc. Also, have extracurricular activites on the campus. Gargi college has its own societies i.e eco-club, euphony the dancing society, the dramatic society, the western music society, NSS is there, Ncc is there, etc.
