Remarks

The location of the college is great. It is situated in the Kalkaji and CR park. The crowd of the college is also amazing and improving every year. The cutoff of the collis also increasing every year. The placement cell of the coll Is actively focusing on tieing up with more and more companies. One of the best placement opportunities for commerce students is KPMG(one of the big four). No other big 4 come for the placement in the colleges for now. The average package of the college is somewhat around 3L. Students are generally placed by end of the 5th semester. There is a 1% relaxation quota for girls in Ramanujan College. You can expect admission in BCom Hons if your percentage is more than 93% and in BCom if more than 90%.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty of the college is very experienced. Attendance is taken very seriously in the college and societies are very active. The students are provided with every possible opportunity in the college.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not that great in the college. There are plenty of opportunities provided to students but most of them revolve around content, marketing, campus ambassadors, etc. Internships in the field of finance, accounting, auditing, etc are not provided.

Placement Experience

Campus placement starts from the 5th semester. KPMG and Mckinsey are some of the best recruiters and many other companies also come. KPMG generally recruits around 15-18 students every year collectively from BCom and BCom Hons.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college are very affordable and there is no hike in the fees as far as I know. There is no scholarship provided to general category students. I got placed with the 3.3 lakhs package at KPMG and the entire selection process was held online due to covid and the college helped in the smooth execution of it.

Campus Life

There is 1 new building which has all the classrooms with AC and Projectors. And there are portacabins in college also, where the only projector is provided and no AC. The classes of 1st and 2nd-year students generally take place in portacabins. In the 3rd year, the students are shifted to the need building(with AC classrooms). The BMS classes are held in the new building only for all 3-year students.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

College life

This college isn't what I chose first of all. It's based on nta's allocation system in accordance to your cuet scores. The other colleges like srcc might outperform my College in terms of sheer placements and exposure to real world. No there's no rejection system under cuet.
