This have the best reputation between private colleges after BITS and eats many NITs too in placements. The culture and campus is at best possible location/city. The crowd is really good and there is no ragging at all. Admission is through JEE mains.
Course Curriculum Overview
Technology is on a boom right now, and I have been fond of computers since my 9th grade.Also Thapar have amazing placements in Tech Industry. Students are around 500 600 in Computer alone but the placement still is around 70 - 80 percent. Exams are of good level and you have to study for it, no work around.
Placement Experience
Placements is the best part here, Great companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Rubrik, DE Shaw, OYO, Paytm, Nutanix visits every year. Highest CTC is 48lpa by Microsoft till now. Computer/Electronics Placements are the best here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees Hike is around 10 percent every year, there are some scholarships though. If you're in top 10 percent of your branch then based on your boards percentage you will get 1L/year scholarship(85% above), 2L/year(90% above). and you will het around 3L/year if you've 90% above in boards( this will be regardless of you come in top 10% of branch or not )
Campus Life
This is the best part of Thapar, it is like a home away from home. Patiala is a beautiful city with many clubs, great street food. Campus is 200 acres and feels like a city Inside. There are lot of cultural activities held by diff societies in Thapar. You will love it, trust me.
