CAT EXAM, I scored a rank of 5000. I chose this college because it is a well known and very much reputed college. The admission process was swift.

The course structure enables the students to get perfect knowledge about the subjects and to apply them in real life. The vision and mission of the department is followed to enable the students to get knowledge about the course subjects. There are practical classes for each subjects.

Yes, the college provide internships. We have various internship programs in doordarshan, infosys, etc which is provided by our college.

The placement process is very good. Most of the students are placed every year. The different companies that come for placement are Tata consultancy services, infosys, wipro, ibm, l&t, etc. The all provide a package of almost 3-5 ctc. TCS provided a cts of 3.2 lpa. Wipro, infosys also had the same ctc.

There are various events conducted in our college. There is sports fest, vipanchika arts fest, sargam arts fest. Sargam is university arts fest. Vipanchika is college arts fest. Then there is onam celebrations. It is celebrated as a big event where the faculties and students together coordinate. There is tech fest every year. The students get opportunities to present their skills and ideas in this programme.

The fee structure is feasible for the students. The payment seat fee is rs 30000 per semester and the merit seat fee is rs 20000 per semester. The fee structure include the tuition fee, course fee, exam fee, library fee, pta fund etc.

There is post matric scholarship for specific students. A student get 10000 rs per semester. There are other scholarships like central sector scholarship, moma etc.

The seniors helped me in doing my seminar and projects. They told me about various topics that i do not know. They were very helpful. They are very friendly towards us.

There are 8 semesters totally. Each sem have two internal exams and a final semester exam. The students must secure a total minimum of 30 marks for the internal. The total marks secured in the final semester exam should be atleast 45. Each semester have 8 subjects including two practicals. The stress was handlable.

I was following the site of CUSAT for knowing the details of the CAT entrance exam. When the notification was published on january 2013, i applied for CAT. The exam was conducted on april 2013. As soon as the results were published, admission started. The admission was based on the rank secured. The admission process was well organised and in a systematic manner.

The faculty of our college are well qualified and they are also very helpful in mentality. They are very much interested in the subject they teach. The faculty takes classes very well. There are guest faculty who are very friendly to the students. Any doubts of the students will be cleared by the faculty.
