The main attraction of the campus is its weather which is very calm and serene. Student can find complete peace for focussing on their study. JUIT has supporting faculties and staff which guide students on their future Carreer. Apart from academics, JUIT has various clubs and committee for overall development of students. It has hostel facilites like laundry, wifi connectivity 24 hrs, authentic Mess food, Room heaters installed in every room
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose btech in cse because i was passionate about learning softwares, computer and wanted to explore more in cse. The time when i graduated from the university, it use to have many experienced professor's, with lot of expertise in their subject. We have a concept of classroom (CR ) and lecture halls (LT) and Tutorial rooms (TR) with the strength of upholding approx 70, 150, 30 students respectively. Apart from them, JUIT has a library, Orientation hall for various cultural activities.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, i was offered microsoft research internship during my third year. I worked there as consulting research intern for a period of 2 months on a health related project. My entire expense from accomodation to food to travelling was reimbursed by the company itself.
Placement Experience
90% of students get placed every year. Some of the students go for higher studies, like mtech or for phd. While some go to foreign university in a student exchange program. JUIT runs a student exchange program for 1 year where students are sent to Florida in their final year to have global exposure.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Overall fees for Btech is 12 lac along with the accomodation at campus. Around 3 lacs every year. No scholarship, reservation quota is there. Every year the fees gets incremented by some amount. The tution fee is non refundable. Only caution money is returned at the time of your graduation
Campus Life
Life at JUIT is awesome. Since it is far away from main cities, you can experience lot of greenery around you. But then it may a drawback too, since you may loose city exposure. You will find necessary shops within the campus itself for your daily stuff. Juit also has a PNB bank setup with in a campus for 24 hrs in order to support students financially
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Accomodation is quite sizzling.There are separate hostels for girls and boys, approx 14 hostels where first year are being given separate hostel inorder to avoid raging issue. Though there is 0 % raging in the campus and JUIT has a very strict policy on the same.
Admission
Yes there is one counselling session, Right after your Jee mains results, in which students can opt for their favourite courses. The counselling process runs for the entire day based on the rank in IIT jee mains exams.
