I always a science student and wanted to pursue my career in research. Therefore I opted biotechnology to give a boost to my career. SRM University has the best labs for experimentation and testing. SRM has its own renounced hospital where all biology students can conduct tests and train under doctors and experts. Theory is less compared to the number of experiments. Teachers are all either professionals or PhD candidates and use ppts to demonstrate lessons and biology department has its own Library different from central library where all the study material is available. Exams are purely descriptive and takes place every month. I find them easy to clear and also score well. There's no stress at all. Enough time is available for self study and to enjoy as well.

7th semester students are eligible for placements. Google, Yahoo, biopharma, ITC and many more visit campus every 2 years for placements and many students get placed in the top companies. SRM is surrounded by beaches, disco clubs, pubs and recreation centers. Students can rent cars and bikes in the campus to travel around. SRM is also surrounded by fast food chains like McDonald's, dominos and KFC.
