Almost accurate

I chose my college because there aren't much government central universities as good as mine. Plus the campus and infrastructure is way too good as compared to many colleges. Plus we have a swimming pool.

The course curriculum is not so hard, and anyone who wants to do engineering should be ready to face challenges. Faculties are average and the student ratio is far way too good than any other colleges(mine is 45 boys to 16 girls)

No i haven't opted for any internships yet as many people do that at the end of third year, Not so many opportunities of internships are available at the college itself.

The whole college experience during the course is good except for the campus placement as it is good but not what an central university should have, we have an almost 50%placements. Student apply for jobs in the last year i.e.4th year in my course, many good companies are visited by (oil india, Amul, TCS, Cognizant, ITC visited last year)

Fee structure is very good almost each semester is of 30000 and there is no hostel accommodation fee as it is covered in the fee of semester, there is only mess fee that is approximately between 1500-2000 depending on each and every month.There aren't much scholarship for students outside of North-East. and i guess there is no financial assistance or campus jobs available for students of b.tech programme although students from m.tech or PhD get there stipends and salary respectively. there is a lot of opportunities for PhD students as most of them get quarters and there is a separate hostel alloted for them.

Campus life is very good as it gets a mixture of all cultures from different regions/states. (As it is a central university you can find people from all across india, and even we have some international students from south africa) there are many clubs including astronomy club, archery,robotics etc. There are many fest conducted throughout the year ex. Inscignis, techxetra etc. There are websites of hostels maintained under students.

For my admission there was no group discussion,interview or written test conducted as my counselling was done through josaa(this is the case for almost every government engineering college admission) there is only an exam named JEE MAIN and the counselling is done online through governments portals
