Remarks
I applied to heramba Chandra college because of the reputation it has. I know I am going to be disappointed after getting admission to this college. The admission process was also easy. I just applied online and after the declaration of merit list. They called us for the admission process and verification through college notice and SMS. The required marks to get admission is approximately 60-70%. On the day of counselling, the process was not too hard. It was good and I got the admission without any problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very much interesting. English literature is a subject to explore. I am blessed to get such good faculty members in our department. The teaching method is Great. They are helpful and supportive. The qualifications of each of them are Great among the total of 5 three professors who are PhD holders. The exams are conducted every 6months. It's not too hard and not easy as well. It all depends on hard work. The professors help us before exams to get the proper information and get well prepared.
Placement Experience
The placement of our college is decent. Every year, a good number of reputed companies comes for placement process to hire Freshers from our college. The students are eligible after 2year for the placement interview. The percentage of students getting placement is not sure but approximately between 40-60%. My plans after completing this course are to do M.A and further studies later on.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are very much affordable. The fees for my course is 4300 per semester. You have to pay it before every semester exam. The college also provides scholarships for the needy ones who need can apply for them.
Campus Life
Life in college is great. I enjoyed it very well even I am still enjoying it. The college campus is decent and clean. The sports complex and library are also available. Social activities like blood donation camps are organised by our union members every year. The college also organizes an annual fest where every student gets a chance to explore and express themselves.
Interview Experience
No, there is no group discussion or exam for admission. Just a counselling session with faculty members and after the document verification, your admission process will be done. I didn't need to prepare for it. Just need to be who you are talking with the professors about yourself and what they ask and do.
