Amazing college

Admission is based on marks secured in the 12th class by releasing cutoffs. One has to score at least 85%+ in 12th class for getting B.Sc. Hons in computer science from Ramanujan college. Orientation day was also organized for freshers to give a brief of the college, course etc.

As I want to become SDE therefore I decided to choose this course as it will provide me with the relevant knowledge and skills. the college has a well educated faculty who teach effectively and are very friendly and kind. The college conducts regular classes, timely exams, internal tests, etc, The exams are quite good to make students ready for their finals. The pass percentage is around 70%.

Internships are provided to students in their 1-2nd year in their respective field of interest. many companies like KPMG, DELLOITE, Microsoft, etc. are some of the reputed recruiting firms visit here. They provide a decent package to students. B.Sc. students are often recruited or provided internships for the role of analysts, SDE, consultants, programmers etc.

Placements are very good in the college. Students are provided with internships even during their first years. Many reputed companies like KPMG, ICICI BANK, DELLOITE etc. visit the college. The average salary package offer here is around 3-4LPA. The highest salary package is 6LPA. More than half of the batch was placed. Placements are satisfactory for students to kickstart their career.

The fees in Ramanujan is moderate-high. It is around 7000-80000. Not everyone can afford it. It also provides financial assistance to students who did not afford it. They provide scholarships, prizes etc. to meritorious students.

There are various fests organized here like hackerthern, turington, etc. around Jan-march month. The library is quite spacious with abundant books there. The infrastructure of the college is top among colleges affiliated with DU. Classrooms have smart facilities, have ACs as well. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are various clubs such as sports club, science club here. Sports events are organized occasionally. Even many of the students have played state-level games as well.
