Remarks
As the college is affiliated with Delhi University, so like all other colleges under DU it also releases cut-offs for various courses offered. Cut-offs are different for different categories and one percent concession is also given to women applicants. One needs to clear the minimum cut-off to get into this college. I made it through in second cut-off list. The admission process was quite smooth because all the teachers and seniors were going all in to guide applicants through it.
Course Curriculum Overview
One of my cousins referred this college to me especially for BCom Hons and she was so sure about it that I looked no further and immediately got myself admitted here. Most of the teachers were Ph.D. holders in their respective subjects and the pedagogy adopted by them made the learning experience one of a kind. The semester system was followed that is a year was divided into two semesters. The exam pattern was comprised of both internals and externals. For internals, students were marked on the basis of projects, assignments, and presentations.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visit our campus for internships. The profiles offered by these companies range from sales and marketing to content writing domain. The stipend offered is also quite satisfactory. The internships involve many projects through which students get to learn a lot.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell in our college which is very active. The members manage to get some of the top companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Genpact, Amazon, Wipro on campus for recruitment. The average package offered during campus placements is around 3-4 Lakhs. The highest can go up to 6 Lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for a year was very nominal which was around ?13,000 per year. The fees remained mostly consistent throughout and there were no such major hikes. Scholarship is being provided to students with a stellar academic record.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest of our college 'Josh' used to happen in february. It consisted of various activities and events which were really fun. All the required books are available in library and you can also get them issued in your name for a certain period. Classrooms were quite spacious. There were a variety of societies and clubs like NSS, Bhangra, Shivranjini etc. They were really good for enhancing one's overall personality.
