Entrance Preview

I took JEE-Mains entrance exam for engineering admissions. I have scored 114/360 marks in it. And I have done search on net and read reviews, I found this college as best for my engineering and thus I opted it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

As my college came under Pune University, the course curriculum is quite theoretical. There are exams after every 2 months. But still there are practical sessions, guest lectures industrial visits or some activities to improve our practical approach and focus on research.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Actually in this semester college has provided internship to most of the students as much as possible. College have also committed us that it will try provide internship to all of the students in next semester. The internship stipend actually depend on company, as we are doing internship to gain practical knowledge and some industrial experience. The overall experience is good and I'm loving it.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of my college is quite good as compared to other private engineering colleges. All the well-known companies came here to place the students some of them are tech mahindra, tata consultancy service, accenture services pvt. ltd., infosys technologies ltd., mercedes, Honda, HP and many other.

College Events

4.5

Our college is good in doing extracurricular activities too. There are Aarohan, Tesla, Socio-eco club, and many others event organised by students with the help of college. Our college support us for the events. The event are quite big as students from nearby colleges also came here to participate in competitions. The participation of students is very great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite high. For Open category the fees are around 1 lakhs, for OBC the fee is around 60,000/- , for SC-ST-SBC & TFWS students the fee is about 9500/-. If you are Open students then the fees are obviously expensive. But you can manage to get admission by taking Education Loan easily. For OBC students there are schemes like Scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, Our college give scholarship. The students who have done good in their academics and rank 1st in their departments, the college provide scholarship for them by reducing their fees for the next year. This is very good and because of it, students do study seriously.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus of the college is very good. It has a large campus, you will definitely mention it when you first enter in it. There are several places near the colleges where you can hangouts with friends. The gender ratio is good and there are students from different states also. College conducts and helps for extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility of college is good. It is actually very strict about in times for both boys and girls. The Hostel campus is very good but little long from college(1.2km) but there are private hostels near the college which are little costly than college hostels but are very good. The mess of college is not good. Many of students didn't like it. And there is a rule, if you have to live in college hostel then you have to take college mess.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, college have a lots of alumni network and senior students. They frequently came to college to guide students about their carriers and business startups.

Exam Structure

As my college came under University of Pune, the exam structure is quite busy. There are exams after each 2 months. The syllabus is vast and theoretical. Some subjects are good. There are labs and practical exams for some subjects, so we have to study it well. But still, the practicals are good for overall understanding the subject. They sometimes may leave us hectic if it was bouncer to us but we like practicals.

Admission

After 12th standard to took admissions in engineering, we have to took JEE-Mains exam conducted by DTE(Director of Technical Education) in Maharashtra. So after the result of JEE-Mains, DTE announces the admission kits, we have to buy it and fill the appropiate forms. After that DTE announces rank on the basis of JEE-Mains score and Caste, after that we have to fill choices codes of our dream institutes and then they allotted the college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of my college is highly education. Almost of the professors are either completed their Phd or pursuing it. All the staff is user friendly and have a proper mentor attitude. They help us in our doubts of beyond the syllabus in their extra time and guide us properly. They also arrange some guest lectures and industrial visit for proper understanding and overall improvement of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
