I have scored 98 marks in CAT , and got admission to this college via CAP round. This college is present in the heart of the city and near to my home.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is good, as in electronics we have many subjects. But I think as per It and other industry standards it should have many programming and other subjects included in course. Frankly speaking there is not a single subject on research. Till now I don't understand the importance of chemistry subject in First year.
Internships Opportunities
No college don't provide any internship to students. So I don,t have any idea about stipend and all. So in terms of internship my experience was not satisfied.
Placement Experience
Yes, in the last year we got the multiple open campus placements opportunity. Many company's like L and T, Indian Army, Infosys, Wipro, Zensar, Reliance power, Syntel, cybage came for placements. In Infosys they selected more than 60 students from this college.
College Events
In terms of events I will give 10\10 to this college. There is annual events celebrated in this college name as ''Navonmesh'' which is Interdepartmental events. In this events they organise many events like Fashion , Dance , singing, live concert and many other technical events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fess structure is average in this college as compare to others in city. For open category fees was 45000 rupees and for OBC it is 22500, for others it is very less we can say negligible. This thing I don't like in our Indian education systems. But students can'y do anything.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, college have scholarship scheme for caste based reservation systems. Unfortunately I got the admission via Open category so never got any fee concession.
Campus Life
Students ration in terms of gender diversity is good in college, they organised many cultural as well as technical events to enhanced students capability. I didn't found any gender or cast based racism in college in four years of my education from there. Even I was the head of organising committee for technical events like robo war, roborace etc.
Hostel Facilities
As I was a local lied student of this college so don't know much about hostel and canteen facility of college. Yes there is one canteen which has been renowned in 2011. May be average rental for Pg is 4000 per month approximately. Hostel was on sharing basis as I heard from my friends who stayed in hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors was very good in nature, this is a ragging free campus. Alumni is good in this college . Overall college environment is good and well maintained.
Exam Structure
No exams are not so hectic but yes we didn't got sufficient time for Prepration i.e PL. There was a semester pattern followed as per university standards. Also they organised semi-semester exams. Yes but practical in labs was so boring and hectic. Some practicals was interesting like ET, NET, PLC design etc.
Admission
I have got admission to this college via CAP ( Centralised admission process )round. Admission process is standard as per Govt Of India a this is AICTE A+ grade college. This is very old and reputed college in the Nagpur city.Notification was released after 12th result.
Faculty
Faculty was very qualified and professional. All faculty was post graduated in their respective subject.There were many Ph.d holders are there. Very well disciplined college. Some faculty member were rude but apart from them all were good. As per govt rule now all faculty should be M.Tech now .
